Once again in 2013 the city of Coventry will graced with the sight of a #picbod exhibition. This year, the culmination of the open class #picbod run by Matt Johnston and made awesome by all the attending and remote students will be on show at Fargo Village, Far Gosford Street, Coventry.
Feel free to download and print the flyers below. And if you can’t get to the show, don’t panic as the students will all be producing a digital counterpart that can be easily accessed.

Tonight sees the launch of the #picbod exhibition at Artspace, Coventry.
The exhibition is a culmination of the work produced by level 2 students in response to the open class #picbod (picturing the body)
If you would like to come to the event, it’s opening time are:
Thursday 15th March 7.00pm onwards (opening night)
Friday 16th March 1.00pm – 5.00pm / 8.00pm – 11.00pm
Saturday 17th March 12.00pm – 5.00pm

Here at #picbod we have been lucky enough to have two guest speakers talk about the work of Robert Gumpert in San Francisco jails. Pete Brook and Benjamin Chesterton both gave talks that featured Robert’s work. (Talks linked below)
Robert has an exhibition at Host Gallery from 7 April – 6 May 2011 as well as a Panel discussion on three different projects made in, around and about jails and prisons, with Robert Gumpert, Edmund Clark and Erwin James (13 April)
